World Book Day 
This year school council asked for a
'comic book' themed World Book Day so we all dressed up as things related to graphic novels and enjoyed a range of activities based on comics. We all even got the gift of a free book from school which we can't wait to read!!
When Eric eats a Banana ….
To celebrate Banana Man turning 40 this year we created our own super fruit and vegetables. We think they look great.

The children who visited Year 6 drew their own comic characters, then brought them to life with an app called ‘Chatterpix’.

Character creations
The children that visited the Reception class explored the story called Bad Nana by Sophy Henn. They watched a video clip exploring how Sophy Henn creates her characters. The children then created their own character duo and some of them went on to create their own comic strips. Some children also created their own bookmarks.
