Today, we celebrated the 80th Anniversary of VE Day. The children learned about how it marks the end of World War II in Europe and the joy and relief people felt after 6 years of hardship and conflict. To mark the occasion, we enjoyed a picnic on the school field Year 3 attended a service of commemoration in Egremont Castle.
