Mrs Carver used to be a school governor and was also the kitchen manager for many years. Unfortunately, a couple of years ago she became ill and was unable to carry on in her role as governor. Mrs Carver always supported the school and was so enthusiastic about the children, making sure they got the best experience at this age. To remember all the work she did for Bookwell, we now have a cookery day. From vegetable soup to apple crumble, we had an amazing day making our seasonal dishes.
