Thanks to the children’s donations, this afternoon we presented a cheque for £200 to Gary McKee (Marathon Man MBE).

It is day 91 of his remarkable “100toLDN” challenge in aid of Hospice at Home West Cumbria. With just £100,000 to go, Gary is on target to smash the £1 million barrier for this incredible local charity.

Gary delivered a motivational assembly, highlighting the importance of helping each other, working hard to achieve your dreams, and getting outdoors and keeping fit. He then chatted to the children as they ran a few laps around our MUGA.
