We have been experimenting with the primary colours in Art this week, using shapes to create some very abstract artwork! 

We have been busy practising our number bonds in Maths this week using the Cuisinaire rods to make our learning stick. We were able to spot patterns instantly with the first and second addend! 
 

In Computing we have been learning how to draw bodies using simple shapes on the Notes App. Children loved using the iPad pens and experimenting with the different tools to draw themselves in cartoon! 

 

Year 2 loved collecting autumn leaves and using them to make leaf prints in Art. We combined them all together to create a crab apple tree to celebrate the Crab Fair this weekend!
