Wheelchair Basketball

Nat Pattinson was back at Bookwell today, with his wheelchair basketball. The children love hearing Nat’s story and enjoyed having a taste of wheeling and scoring baskets. 

Keep the Home Fires Burning

Alan Gillon from the Beacon Museum visited Year 6 today to talk to them about life at home during World War 2. After a presentation, the children explored a carousel of activities linked to evacuation, rationing and the Blitz. It was a lovely learning experience for us all and we appreciate Alan taking the time to come to Bookwell.
