The whole school had a cookery day to try to win their class the Jennifer Carver Award.  Mrs Carver used to be the cook at Bookwell and has been a governor of the school too.  Year 4 made 'Bookwell Berries Cheesecake' and had lots of fun mixing, crushing, spooning and tasting! So did some of the staff!
