Today we were reading old newspapers and had to decide whether or not Thomas Farriner should go to jail for starting the fire. The children had to use connectives to help explain why they thought he should/shouldn't go. After conscience alley two of the children were the judges and decided he should go to the prison because his maid died in the fire whilst he escaped.
