We have been doing lots of problems about measuring during numeracy and this came in very handy when we had a visit from someone who needed our help. Grandma Kranky (who is the Gran in the book George's Marvellous Medicine) stormed into our class and asked us to do some very careful measuring to get her own back on George. We used measuring cylinders, coloured liquids, whiteboards and recipe sheets to concoct some colourful medicines. Look how carefully we are concentrating.
