Year 4 had a visit from a Viking! Bjarny brought lots of Viking based artefacts and weapons to share with the children and taught them all about how the Vikings lived and fought. We explored weapons and shield wall tactics, everyday life, games and various artefacts. The children enjoyed it immensely and took home a freshly struck Viking coin to help them remember the day.
