War Memorial Visit

Our history topic this term is Remembrance Day, so this week we visited the Egremont War Memorial to do an observational drawing of the memorial itself and to discuss it's importance. A lot of the children were shocked when they realised just how many people from Egremont lost their lives in WW1 and WW2.
