Year 6 had their yearly visit to Whitehaven Magistrates' court this week.  The children really enjoyed looking around and seeing all the different aspects of the court.  They also enjoyed being locked in the cells!!!  Luckily they were let out on good behaviour.  Mr Rice then took the children in to Court room 1 and took them through a mock trial, with the children acting out the various parts.  Thomas was a very good witness!!!
