Today Bookwell held their first official Bake Off. Year Six decided that they would like to make bread. We researched different flavours and styles by tasting and evaluating different types of bread. The children then designed their own bread and made Mrs Rae a shopping list! On Monday, they spent the morning mixing, kneading and sculpting their own design. Once they'd had time to rise, in the oven they went! Year Six were pleased with the end product and they made the school smell lovely for days!
