Infant children enter school by the bottom entrance.  A member of staff is always there to great the children.  Junior children can either by the bottom gat or the main entrance gate.  The gates will open at 8.40 and children are let in and go directly to their classes and will be greeted by the class teacher or teaching assistant.  Children then take their coats and bags to their cloakroom.

School finishes at 3pm.  All infants classes have their own door on to the infant yard.  All junior children will be dismissed through the Y6 classroom door and let on to the playground.

We are open for 31 hours and 15 mins per week.

Morning Snack

Infant children receive a free portion of fruit or vegetable, as part of a government initiative, every day. Junior children can bring in their own healthy snack from home.

Dinnertime

Dinner begins at 11.45am for Reception, 11.55am for Year 1 and 12 noon for Year 2. 

Junior dinner time begins at 12.15am. All children are helped at the hatch by the midday supervisors and supported with using their cutlery where needed. All children have a playtime on their yard during dinnertime which finishes by 1 pm. Dinner costs £2.40 per day, £12 per week.

Water

We ask all children bring a freshly filled water bottle to school every day and they have access to fresh water to refill it as and when is necessary. There is a filtered water cooler available in the junior and infant porch.

Home-time

School finishes at 3 pm for Reception to Year 6 children.  Reception leave school via their outside classroom door and Year 1 and 2 leave via their door on to the infant yard. Juniors leave, a class at a time, from the junior door at the top of the school.
