Bookwell has a very friendly and active Parents' group who support us a great deal through their fundraising efforts. They have at least one event per half term and the money raised goes towards a variety of things that enrich the children's school lives. This includes buses for school trips, play and sport equipment, topic workshops, and visitors. The committee are always on the look out for new members, so if you think you can help in any way please contact Mrs Nicola Sibson (parent) or Mrs Pope (KS1 co-ordinator).

FOBS Curry and Quiz Night
An excellent night was had by all who came to the curry and quiz night courtesy of FOBS. Whilst being quizzed on everything from celebrities to Cumbrian knowledge, we managed to raise around £300 from the ticket sales and 'Stand Up Bingo'! A huge thank-you to Prya who provided the delicious curry for the evening - completely free of charge!
The new Infant playground equipment has been installed in the Infant yard. FOBS donated £3000 towards the purchase of the climbing equipment.
