Special Educational Needs and Disabilities
At Bookwell we value each and every child. Their happiness, academic progress and personal wellbeing is of the utmost importance to us. We are an inclusive school and we strive to support all children to enable them to achieve their very best. Some children will require extra support in school to meet their needs or to improve their learning. This additional help will usually be provided in school either by staff or with the help of external specialists.

Family Action
We recognise that family life can sometimes be difficult and there may be pressures within the family home. Some families may need emotional support and guidance but don’t know where to access information, help or services close to home.
Family Action is a service available to ALL Cumbrian families. Click on the link below to find out more information, or speak to our SENDCo who would be happy to discuss this further with you and advise on a referral.
