The children have been learning about different types of materials this week. We began by going on a materials hunt around the school to find different types of materials. 

 

 

After this we have been learning about whether the materials are natural or man made and if they are man made exactly how they are made. We also learnt about why these materials are used to make objects. To do this we worked in 5 teams and learnt about one type of material before sharing what we had learned with other tables.
