For World Book Day we all dressed up as characters from books. In Year 3 we had Miss Root, Captain Hook, Willy Wonka, Matilda, The Little Mermaid, Where's Wally? and lots more.
We spend the day creating new covers and blurbs for our favourite books as well as explaining to the class who we had dressed up as and what book we were from. There was even a bookmark competition. We all tried to make our own the most inventive and colourful and, of course, well presented. Mrs Twit was our teacher instead of Mrs McEwan and she really didn't like children but we managed to survive. It was super fun!
